Austrian men swept the top three places in the final Europa Cup overall standings and Anna Fenninger got the women's title for the world's top team as well.
Europa Cup finals concluded Saturday at Santa Caterina Valfura, Italy with Peter Struger taking the overall crown, Alexander Koll in second and Matthias Lanzinger third. Swiss took the next two slots before Austria filled another six and seventh on the list. The top American was Cody Marshall in 68th.
Behind Fenninger, second went to Marusa Ferk of Slovenia with Camilla Alfieri of Italy third. Austrians claimed the next three placings. Resi Stiegler was the top U.S. skier in 43rd, with Jessica Kelley 45 and Caitlin Ciccone 55.
In the final competitions Georg Streitberger of Austria won the downhill to secure second in the final DH standings to Frenchman Johan Clarey. Christin Sponring collected her third victory of the season to top Lara Gut of Switzerland in the final DH standings.
Hans Olsson of Norway won the final super combined.
