U.S. Ski & Snowboard to host annual congress virtually
Due to the continued uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, U.S. Ski & Snowboard has announced it will host its annual congressional meetings online, rather than in-person in Park City as in previous years.
In their statement released on March 19th, 2020, Ski & Snowboard cited the decision was made in accordance with the Center for Disease Control’s guidelines restricting large gatherings.
“We have already moved our annual Athletic Summit and Club Excellence to a virtual meeting, and we’re confident that the 2020 U.S. Ski & Snowboard Congress will deliver a positive outcome that allows all of us to focus on athlete development and organizational excellence,” the statement reads.
Details, including the meeting platform and the revised schedule, will be forthcoming.
