Mikaela Shiffrin closed out the weekend in Lienz, Austria on Sunday with the 64th win of her career, 0.61 seconds over Petra Vlhova in the slalom.

Shiffrin in Vlhova skied in a league of their own. Switzerland’s Michele Gisin barely broke into the top three to earn her first-ever slalom podium, although she finished 1.72 seconds off of Shiffrin’s time.

Canadian Laurence St. Germain finished her first run sitting in fifth, and ended the day in ninth her best performance in the slalom discipline to date.

Paula Moltzan and Nina O’Brien also started for the Americans on Sunday. Moltzan skied out in the top section of the course and did not finish her first run. O’Brien did not qualify for a second run.
