Bode Miller Releases Short Documentary, Announces Twins With Wife Morgan

It’s been a year of the highest highs and the lowest lows for American skiing legend Bode Miller and his wife Morgan. The Miller family tragically lost their 19-month-old daughter, Emeline, to a drowning accident last June and welcomed a son, Easton, just four months later in October.

Now, the Millers have some more exciting news to share. The family recently relocated to Montana and appeared on NBC’s Today to announce that they are expecting twin boys in the coming months and continue their efforts to raise awareness around childhood drowning, which is the number one cause of injury-related deaths in children between the ages of one and four.

Simultaneously, a mini-documentary produced by Teton Gravity Research and the Big Sky Real Estate Company was released titled “Bode Miller: Forces of Nature”, chronicling the American’s early life, career, and tumultuous year.

“I definitely had a revisiting of what I felt like was important and what wasn’t important,” Miller said.

The Millers have also been at the forefront of the fight against accidental drowning with the couple partnering with the American Academy of Pediatrics, appearing in numerous PSAs encouraging parents to be aware of the risks around having small children near water, how to properly safeguard home pools, as well as training infants to float as early as possible in order to lessen the chances of an accidental death.

“As parents, one of the things that we know is that it’s our job to prepare our children for the situation,” Morgan said.
