The most important piece of equipment that Mark Engel brought with him to a training camp in Valle Nevado, Chile, wasn’t a pair of skis.

It was his guitar: an instrument that allows him to unplug from the pressure of ski racing and traveling with the U.S. Ski Team. During the men’s Europa Cup prep camp, he sat down with SkiRacing.com to share his story: how music helps his sport, and how his sport helps his music.
