After two and a half hours of delays, FIS and the local organizing committee decided to cancel the slalom races in Yuzawa Naeba, Japan due to weather. Strong wind gusts, soft snow, and other variable weather conditions lead to the making of the decision. At the time of cancellation, a date and location for a rescheduled event has not yet been communicated.
