Maria Jose Rienda of Spain will miss the remainder of the racing season after sustaining a ruptured left anterior cruciate knee ligament sustained in a fall during the GS at Aspen Nov. 29.

Chiara Costazza of Italy suffered a torn Achilles heel ligament in a fall during the GS at Aspen Nov. 29.

Mario Scheiber had undergone arthoscropic surgery to his right knee and will be lost to the Austrian team for an as yet unknown duration. He damaged the knee in the Lake Louise super G, Sunday, Nov.30, Although he did not fall and actually placed 13th. He flew home immediately following the race to Innsbruck where the surgery took place Tuesday.
