WENGEN 2005: Lauberhorn downhill todayThe 75th running of the Lauberhorn will begin in 45 minutes. Conditions are sunny and cold, with hard, grippy snow. This morning, Hermann Maier was the last one to finish inspection, crossing the finish line ten seconds after 11:00, when inspection closed. Daron Rahlves is driving to Innsbruck, Austria, today to see a doctor about his shin bruises. And Bode Miller, winner of yesterday’s final training run, chose not to inspect the course this morning.
