If you’ve ever gotten a pair of race boots custom fit, you know the drill (pun intended). A master boot fitter works with each individual athlete to identify problem areas on each foot before grinding the plastic away or punching it out to create an outer shell that fits like a well-worn pair of expensive shoes.
