Newly crowned World Cup overall champion Stephani Victor (sit-ski) didn't miss a beat Thursday, winning the U.S. giant slalom title as the 2007 Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships opened in New Hampshire. Also taking GS championships were Elitsa Storey (standing), Chris Devlin-Young (sit-ski) and George Sansonetis (standing).
WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. — Newly crowned World Cup overall champion Stephani Victor (sit-ski) didn't miss a beat Thursday, winning the U.S. giant slalom title as the 2007 Hartford U.S. Disabled Alpine Championships opened in New Hampshire. Also taking GS championships were Elitsa Storey (standing), Chris Devlin-Young (sit-ski) and George Sansonetis (standing).
    Victor, also the World Cup slalom and giant slalom crystal globe winner, completed a two-day GS sweep as she also won a NorAm race on Wednesday. Ricci Kilgore (sit-ski) finished second on Thursday and Laurie Stephens (sit-ski), who finished second in the NorAm event, dropped one spot to third on Thursday.
    A NorAm slalom is scheduled for Friday, followed by the national championship slalom races on Saturday.
