TIMBERLINE LODGE, Ore. — Athletes and coaches from three well-known ski academies in Vermont — Stratton Mountain School, Green Mountain Valley School, and Burke Mountain Academy — converged on the Mile West lanes at Mt. Hood during a day of overlap for their development summer camps. Young ski racers from the U12 through U16 levels used their respective lanes for free ski and brush drills on the lower Magic Mile area of the glacier.

Despite the fact that the three schools have been known to act rivalrous during the competition season, athletes and coaches from all three camps met for a group photograph at the top of their lanes, introducing themselves to one another and even hucking a few snowballs in the air together. Can you name the only coach in the photo who has worked at all three of the schools? Hint: he isn’t standing in the back row.
