All USSA Memberships (competition, masters, officials and coaches) expired on June 30, 2012 and now are up for renewal. USSA has the renewal process up on its site: www.ussa.org. Here are the instructions:

•    Go to my.ussa.org.

•    Click Sign In or Register and login to your My USSA account.

•    Click your box in the Linked Member Accounts section in the My Account box.

•    Click the Renew Membership link in the Membership Status line in the My Account box.

•    Link any additional members you wish to renew.

If you have lost or forgotten your username, Member Service can provide it for you. In addition, Member Service can also reset your password or simply click the forgot password link and a temporary password will be provided by email to the email address attached to the user account.

First time users of the online registration system should begin by creating a My USSA account. Multiple members may be linked to a single account using the Link Members tool in the My Account box in the My USSA account homepage.

And, remember to opt in to receive your free subscription of Ski Racing.

FIS licenses can be renewed  here as well.

In memoriam: The veteran of the staff, McKee started with Ski Racing in 1980. Over the seasons, he covered virtually every aspect of the sport, from the pro tours to junior racing, freestyle and World Cup alpine competition. He wrote the first national stories for many U.S. team stars, and was still around to report on their retirements. “Longevity has its rewards,” he said, “but it’s a slow process.”
