Prior to the resorts shutting down this spring, Olympic medalists and old teammates Debbie Armstrong, Christin Cooper, and Cindy Nelson took to the slopes of Vail to show how they still rip. Armstrong shared the video on Facebook, calling the day out with her friends a day spent skiing with her soul sisters.

“The day before Vail, Alterra and our industry shut down. Coop’s comment of the video, “just a hit of organic joyousness when everyone needs it, Deb,'” she wrote. “I hope you all feel that way watching. What a joyful day we had.”

Both Armstrong and Cooper medaled in the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. Armstrong won gold in the giant slalom, Cooper won silver. Cooper would go on to earn three World Championship medals in addition to her Olympic medal. Nelson earned a bronze medal in the 1976 Olympic downhill in Innsbruck, in addition to three World Championship medals.
