After a busy winter that included 84 World Cup podiums for Rossignol/Dynastar/Lange athletes and crystal globes in slalom for Sweden’s Frida Hansdotter and Norway’s Henrik Kristoffersen, Rossignol Group announced the signing of several new athletes for the next two seasons.

Rossignol Group has proudly welcomed Norwegian tech skier, Nina Loeseth, to its team. The Norwegian skier had an excellent winter, earning the first four podiums of her World Cup career with a particularly outstanding victory in the slalom at Santa Caterina, Italy. Loeseth’s new contract is surprising, considering she has skied on Volkl for the entirety of her career.

“I loved the skis as soon as I tried them, and I quickly felt that they would be a good choice for me,” Loeseth said. “I’ve been using Lange boots for a while, so it’s the perfect combination, allowing me greater speed and pushing back my limits. It’s giving me a lot of motivation. I’m hoping to stay in this season’s winning streak, and come back from the 2017 World Championships and the 2018 Olympic Games with medals around my neck.”

Three other athletes will be also integrated in the Rossignol Team for the next two seasons: Linus Strasser of Germany, Christoph Noesig of Austria, and Rasmus Windingstad of Norway.

“We’re very happy to welcome these four new athletes to our team,” said Angelo Maino, Rossignol’s race director. “Last season, Nina Loeseth proved that she could be among the best in every race, Linus Strasser is an athlete with a lot of potential and we’re counting on him to make a formidable duo with Stefan Luitz. Christoph Noesig will be strengthening the Rossignol presence in the Austrian technical team while the versatile young Norwegian Rasmus Windingstad will continue his training on the World Cup circuit as soon as winter arrives.”
