Jane LeMasurier has been named the new assistant alpine ski coach at Middlebury College.
JANE LEMASURIER has been named the new assistant alpine ski coach at Middlebury College.
    LeMasurier comes to Middlebury from the Mount Mansfield Ski Club in Stowe, Vermont, where she worked as the assistant women’s FIS coach last season. For the past two years she has also taught 11th and 12th grade English at the Mount Mansfield Winter Academy.
    LeMasurier graduated from the University of Vermont in 2005, where she was a four-year member of the alpine ski team. She graduated with a degree in English and will be splitting her coaching duties in the summer, while working toward a Master’s degree in English at Middlebury. Prior to her education at Vermont, LeMasurier attended Burke Mountain Academy where she competed at the FIS and Nor Am level.
    Middlebury finished tied for sixth place at the NCAA Championships last season and produced two alpine All-Americans, Andrew Wagner and Mattie Ford.
