Alpine Canada medical staff confirmed that 34-year-old Canadian veteran, Manuel Osborne-Paradis, sustained left tibia-fibula fracture in the first training run at the 2018 Lake Louise Audi FIS Ski World Cup on Wednesday, November 21. He has already undergone surgery. His condition is stable and he is said to be in good spirits.

The Canadian fell in the lower Fishnet section of the course and was transported to Banff Mineral Springs Hospital by ground ambulance.
