PARK CITY, Utah – The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation has named two new members to its Board of Trustees. Joining the board are Daniel Leever (Palm Beach, FL/ Vail, CO) and Lynn D. Bleil (Park City, UT). The announcement was made by Foundation President Greg Boester, an Olympic ski jumper who took over board leadership last summer.

“Dan and Lynn are representative of an important new trend in trustees. Each brings a very extensive background in international business to our board. But, just as importantly, each of them are passionate skiers and have been directly engaged in USSA club programs through their children and their direct support. Both understand our mission from the grassroots up,” said Boester.

Leever, the CEO of Specialty Products Corporation (PSP) in Miami, has been a passionate supporter of ski racing in his Vail mountain home. Bleil, a longtime senior partner with McKinsey & Company, has long been engaged in the sport and recently was project leader on a valuable study for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

“While our trustees are certainly an important resource in supporting athletes and for their business expertise, what’s even more important is their willingness to actively engage with our organization,” noted Foundation Executive Vice President Trisha Worthington. “More and more we’re seeing supporters like Dan and Lynn who bring firsthand knowledge of our athletic programs.”

The Foundation is the non-profit fundraising arm of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing. They join a 74-member Board of Trustees representing leaders in American business and sport.
