KITZBUEHEL 2005: Complete coverage of a stormy weekThis year’s 65th annual Hahnenkamm races are over, with Hermann Maier and Manfred Pranger winning the races before their Austrian countrymen. The notorious downhill on the Streif course was cancelled because of snowfall, but tens of thousands of fans still made the pilgrimmage to the small Tyrolean town of Kitzbuehel. The cancellation of the downhill meant, by extension, cancelling the Kitzbuehel combined (which was Bode Miller’s last chance to join Marc Girardelli among male racers who have won each of five events in a single season).
