Ivar Dahl leaves Tecnica/Völkl; MC Malbouef named director of promotions{mosimage}Tecnica USA & Volkl Sport America are pleased to announce the appointment of MC Malboeuf to Director of Promotions. Ivar Dahl, who has left the company to pursue alternative avenues in the ski industry, recently held this position.

MC, a graduate of Plymouth State College, has been with Tecnica/Völkl for six years, most recently as Race Service Rep for the Rocky Mountain territory. His enthusiasm, abilities and knowledge of the sport have served him well on the road and we look forward to his growth in this new position.

Earlier this summer, Völkl/Tecnica and Marker announced numerous changes in the wake of K2 Inc's acquisition of Marker and Völkl. The equipment companies, whose American headquarters are in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, also announced various athlete signings . Now the company is announcing several other details about its staff structure.

John Stahler continues as CEO of the Tecnica Group in the U.S., which includes Tecnica, Nordica and Rollerblade. He will manage the group's activities in the United States.

Mike Noonan, recently named President of Völkl Sport America (newly acquired by K2 Inc.), will maintain his current position at Tecnica USA. Noonan had assumed his new position for the Tecnica and Völkl Winter Divisions in January, 2004, after serving as the V.P. of Sales for Völkl since 1993.

Sam Cook has been promoted to Vice President of Sales for Tecnica USA's and Völkl Sport America's Winter Divisions (Tecnica Ski Boots and Völkl Skis and Snowboards). Cook has managed the Völkl Tennis Division in the U.S. since 1993. "Cook's fresh and enthusiastic approach, as well as his analytical and organizational skills are a welcome addition to the management team in the Winter Divisions," says Noonan. Assuming Cook's responsibilities as Vice President and Tennis Division Manager is Chris Pearson.

Mike James has accepted the position of Director of Finance for Völkl and Marker. James was recently the CFO for Tubbs Snowshoes. He will relocate to the West Lebanon offices and begin in August.

The distribution center for Tecnica USA and Völkl Sport America will remain in the West Lebanon, NH offices and will continue to operate as normal. "Our goal is to offer a seamless transition with the same high level of service and quality products as our customers have come to expect from Tecnica and Völkl," says Noonan.
