Gruber fastest in first Kitzbuehel training run{mosimage}Austrian Christoph Gruber notched the fastest time (1:58.38) in Tuesday’s training for the downhill at Kitzbuehel. Hermann Maier posted the fifth-best run, in 1:59.23, and Bode Miller skied to a 2:01.74, for the 18th-best time.

More training runs are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. Racing begins on Friday, with super G. The famous Kitbuehel downhill is on Saturday, followed by the slalom on Sunday. The downhill and slalom together determine the winner of the Hahnennkamm.
