T.J. Lanning of the U.S. had the best result for the American Europa Cup team in Monday's super G in Sella Nevea, Italy. He placed 15th.


T.J. LANNING of the U.S. had the best result for the American Europa Cup team in Monday's super G in Sella Nevea, Italy. He placed 15th.
     Italy's Stefan Thanei got first with a time of one minute, 18.53 seconds. Germany's Peter Strodl and Italy's Aronne Pieruz came in second and third, respectively.
    The only other American to compete was Andrew Weibrecht, but he did not finish his first run. The men conclude races at Sella Nevea with another super G on Tuesday.
