Dynastar's U.S. subisidiary hires Lisa Curran to handle apparel line{mosimage}Lisa P. Curran has been named business unit manager for apparel and accessories at Skis Dynastar's Vermont-based U.S. subsidiary.

A veteran of the ski and snowboard industry who began her career at Dynastar and Original Sin Snowboards, Curran rejoins the company after spending the last six years at Burton Snowboards. For the past three years, she's been Burton's softgoods business unit director. She officially joined Dynastar on January 1.

At Burton, Curran worked her way up from assistant product manager to business unit director, a career path that helped her learn all aspects of the apparel business — from garment construction to line development and product commercialization — and develop a practical knowledge of the U.S. apparel market. Before joining Burton, Curran spent four and a half years at Dynastar, working primarily as operations manager for Original Sin Snowboards.

Dynastar Apparel is a collection of outerwear and layering pieces driven by and designed for skiers. The line will be shown by appointment at most industry events this month.
