ASPEN, Colorado – The sun was in full force again in Aspen for the fourth day of the Rocky/Central J3 Junior Olympics. But that wasn't slowing down Team Winter Park's, Tracie Kroneberger who won the women's Super G by over a second and a half over Joanna Coffey, Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club. The Super G course was fast and very technical.  There was big air over Waterfall and the athletes were generating fast speeds on the bottom pitch into the finish.  Kroneberger dominated the field with her performance in the speed events.  She is looking forward to the tech events.
Luc Henri Chevalier, Team Summit, was a bright spot in today's men's Super G.  He bested Cooper Cartmill, Independent, by almost a second.  Victor Major from Telluride finished off the podium in third.  Luc was looking for speed all the way down the hill.  He was very smooth off of the Waterfall jump and maintained speed through the tricky section after the jump and then diced the bottom pitch for the win.
The races move from the Buttermilk mountain in Aspen to Aspen Highlands on Thursday with the Men's GS race, women will race GS on Friday.
Both Kroneberger and Chevalier have earned themselves a spot on the Whistler Cup team with the win.
