Canadians Take Top Two Spots in Aerials{mosimage}SAUZE D'OULX, Italy (AP) Steve Omischl and Kyle Nissen led Canada to a 1-2 finish in a World Cup aerials event Saturday on the course for next year's Turin Olympics.

Omischl finished with 256.09 points for his first victory of the season after coming in second in the previous two events, both in China.

Stanislav Kravchuk of Ukraine was third with 252.09 points.

Jeret Peterson of the United States finished seventh but retained his lead atop the aerials standings with 596 points.

Evelyne Lue of Switzerland captured her first victory of the season in the women's event with 197.20 points, beating Chinese jumpers Li Nina (195.59) and Guo Xinxin (189.26).

Li retained her World Cup lead with 825 points, 200 more than second-place Lydia Ierodiaconou of Australia, who did not take part in the event.
