Slovakia’s Petra Vlhova and Austria’s Marco Schwarz won the parallel city event in Oslo, Norway on Tuesday to ring in the New Year.

In the women’s race, Vlhova beat out the United States’ Mikaela Shiffrin for the win. Switzerland’s Wendy Holdener defeated Sweden’s Anna Swenn Larsson for third place in the small final.

For the men, Schwarz defeated Great Britain’s Dave Ryding for his first World Cup victory. Switzerland’s Ramon Zenhaeusern took down Sweden’s Andre Myhrer for third place in the small final.
