Mikaela Shiffrin won her third slalom of the season in Courchevel on Saturday, beating out Petra Vlhova of Slovakia by 0.29 seconds.

Shiffrin has now been dubbed “Queen of Courchevel”. Her win surpasses the record of most wins at the venue, previously held by one of her childhood idols, Austrian Marlies Schild. The American now has 50 wins overall.

Sweden’s Frida Hansdotter charged through her second run to advance two places and round out the podium in third. Overall she was 0.37 seconds back from Shiffrin.

American and University of Vermont Catamount Paula Moltzan finished in the top 15 today for the first time in career, finishing in 15th place after starting in bib 39.
