If you looked at the original competition schedule, you know that this Olympic episode what supposed to be a riveting breakdown of the women’s slalom and giant slalom. Two gold medals would have been awarded–perhaps to heavy favorite Mikaela Shiffrin of the U.S. However, Mother Nature had different plans. Gusting winds as high as 70 km an hour have made it impossible to host a safe and fair race. But what does that really mean?

Gabbi Hall and this week’s co-host, Claire Brown, are both based at the Jeongseon Alpine Center in South Korea during the Games. They are sharing their experiences and inside information from the slopes as well as making their medal picks for the upcoming women’s races.
