Getting in the Holiday Ski Racing Spirit

The Murphy Roberts Holiday Classic has drawn some of the best athletes in the country to Colorado for more than a decade.  The core festive vibe of the event makes it a holiday tradition for the ski racing community in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Thanks to the efforts of co-chairs Chris Puckett and David Baldinger, Jr., and as a result of T2’s participation, the race offered the highest total purse of its kind–almost $10,000–this year.

While athletes competed for FIS points and prize money, spectators enjoyed the fire pits and hot spiced wine while cheering on the competitors. It’s all part of the unique experience that makes this race famous in the U.S. ski community.
