Ski Sport Finland has confirmed the signing of Osi Inglin as their new Head Coach of Alpine Men National Team. Inglin will join the outfit from his previous role as the Head Coach for Davos Ski Sports School. Inglin has previously held the position of Head Coach for Swiss Ski groups on various occasions during its successful campaigns since the 1990s and was a coach at Ski Club Vail.

“We wanted Osi here to help us re-build the Finnish skiing to the level it was a decade ago. He’s going to be an instrumental part of the process and development for the years to come. I think the track record is there with the likes of [Marco] Odermatt, [Daniel] Yule, [Ramon] Zenhausern, and [Loic] Meillard in the recent past. Time will tell how we succeed with the young Finnish Team,” commented Iiro Kaukoniemi, Executive Director for Ski Sport Finland.

Inglin is excited about the opportunity and new challenge as he returns to lead a National team after 5 years abroad and with Davos.

“I’m passionate about skiing and keen to take this young and talented group to the highest level,” says Inglin.

Ski Sport Finland will announce their team for season 2020-2021 in May.
