Since 1923, Völkl‘s dedication to precision, accuracy and high performance has propelled everything we do. As the only winter sports brand still developing and manufacturing in Germany, racing is a core part of our DNA. The 2020/21 Racetiger series offers new SL skis from the smallest size for U12s all the way to the 165 World Cup length. In addition, there‘s a new 188 30m World Cup GS ski with a shape and flex that comes directly from our work with Alice Robinson. In all of our new racing skis, we‘ve brought back the famous striped graphic with its legendary zebra pattern, recognized by racers of all ages. This iconic design tells a brand-new story in which the Völkl brand merges World Cup experience with new ski technology that benefits even the youngest of racers.

Our Race Stock construction skis in sizes 174, 178, 183, and 188 are all examples of our effort to provide the perfect setup for progression through the ranks.

Racetiger SL R Jr (with plate S)
A completely new ski body was developed for the new Racetiger Junior. New sidecuts provide more support for turn initiation, and each length was also individually tailored to the different levels of skier development. During the R&D phase, each length was tested by top-level junior racers to further refine the construction for each size. Although the same materials were used for all constructions, each length differs in terms of thickness, quantity, and proportion of material used. In addition, Soft Tip Torsion Technology provides direct, accurate, and predictable tip response for easy turn initiation and greater agility. A new Race Interface Plate provides a balanced flex and optimal leverage, with the most direct edge response and power transmission. Paired with Marker’s new Xcomp bindings, this is the hottest new Junior SL setup going into the 2020/21 season.
