Gear Guide: Goggia signs with Atomic for two more seasons

Coming off her best season ever, Sofia Goggia has decided to continue her relationship with Atomic heading into the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

“Glad to announce that I am going to continue my partnership with Atomic for the next two upcoming season,” she wrote on her Facebook page. “The best choice you can do, sometimes, is to stay where you are and take fully advantage of what you have and well, I do strongly believe in my materials!”

Goggia won her first World Cup race in 2016-17 at the Olympic test event in Jeongseon, South Korea. Perhaps even more impressive, she had top-3 resultsĀ in four different disciplines and earned 13 podium finishes in total in 2016-17. Goggia ended the season ranked third in the World Cup overall standings behind Mikaela Shiffrin and Ilka Stuhec.

The 24-year-old athlete will undoubtedly be hunting for Olympic medals and World Cup globes on her Redster skis.
