While taking a holiday break from the World Cup, U.S. racer Ted Ligety and a group of friends hit the hills of his native Park City, Utah for some air time. The group, decked out in Ligety’s Shred goggle and helmet line, spent all morning building a kicker near an old mining area of the city. The afternoon was spent jumping as the pals perfected tricks into a pile of recently fallen powder.
The break was certainly well deserved. The 26-year-old Olympic gold medalist has won the last three consecutive World Cup giant slaloms and currently stands third in the overall rankings.
Enjoy the views.
