A look at the 2015 Worlds Bid

With 48 hours before the vote for the 2015 Alpine World Championships
draws near at the FIS Congress gathering in Antalya, Turkey, the Vail
Bid Committee is working at a feverish pitch. Above is the third
official communication to the voting body.

Vail/Beaver Creek is one of three finalists bidding to host the 2015
World Alpine Ski Championships, the others being Cortina d’Ampezzo,
Italy and St Moritz, Switzerland.

Additional title meets will also be awarded with Falun, Sweden, Lahti,
Finland and Oberstdorf Germany in the running to host the 2015 Nordic
World Ski Championships.

Kreischberg/Murau Austria is the lone candidate for the Freestyle and
Snowboard World Championships and Harrachov, Czech Republic the lone
bidder for the 2014 Ski Flying World Championships.
