Cancelled Soelden Men’s GS Rescheduled for December 20
The 2018-19 season-opening men’s giant slalom in Soelden, Austria, that was cancelled on Sunday due to adverse weather has been rescheduled for December 20 in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria. Saalbach-Hinterglemm has not hosted a World Cup since men’s downhill and super-G races were contested at the venue in 2015.
The new race date will be the fourth men’s GS of the season after Beaver Creek, Colodado, on Dec. 2, Val d’Isere, France, on Dec. 8, and Alta Badia, Italy, on Dec. 16.
