Overview: U.S. Elite Camp takes pride in offering a high-level ski training program with a focus elite level training, professional coaching, safe activities, and a true team atmosphere. In Mt. Hood, campers enjoy the best summer training in North America on the Palmer Glacier. Athletes explore the breathtaking beauty of the Pacific Northwest when off hill and stay in a safe camp setting nestled among fields and trails of the Mt Hood wilderness.

This action-packed camp is ideal for experienced ski racers, aged 10-18 (U12-U19), who love being a part of a motivated, professional team that offers a true elite level on hill program that will give them a jump on the competition.

On hill, athletes train with supportive professional coaches in Slalom and GS freeskiing, drill courses and full training courses. Training groups are based on age class and ability, as well as catering to individual learning styles, ensuring a successful camp for everyone. All training courses are age appropriate and in line with current rules and standards. The afternoons are fun, team-based activities, where campers can choose from rock climbing, yoga, adventure, field games, etc.

Compared with other ski camps, we spend less time hanging out during ‘free time’ and focus on fun, fitness and adventure. We strive to offer the best all-round summer ski camp available and prioritize 24-hour supervision and safety.  Parents can access our online Camp Diary at any time, and rely on our all-inclusive tuition fee, with no hidden costs.  For those travelling from the northeastern region, we offer staff chaperoned group flight from Boston/Hartford area and the New York area to Portland.

Why You Should Attend This Camp:

Athletes should attend U.S. Elite Camps because we only use professional coaches that offer individualized attention to teach the “whole progression” of ski racing to each athlete. We hire professionals only and all camps have an on staff house mom to care for the kids and create a true family feel. The focus is on the kids and we offer a safe, fun, and energetic environment that brings out the best in each athlete. We spend less time hanging out with ‘free time’ and focus more on fun, fitness, and what the athletes came to do…ski & train! U.S. Elite Camps has lots of nice, friendly touches and take fun, quality, supervision, and safety very seriously. U.S. Elite Camps was the first (and only) ski racing camp to receive an ACA (American Camp Association) accreditation for camp safety and best practice.
