Wendy Holdener does it again at World Championships, earning her second gold medal in the alpine combined. A win has been long overdue for Holdener this season, as she has been unable to break onto the top spot of the podium on the World Cup circuit.

Petra Vlhova trailed Holdener by three-hundredths to earn the first individual World Championship medal of her career. In third, 0.45 seconds out from Vlhova, is Ragnhild Mowinckel. Her podium finish is her first in the alpine combined on the world stage.

Alice Merryweather, the lone representative of the United States, had a costly mistake in the slalom that put her in 18th overall after a strong 10th place finish in the downhill early on Friday morning.

Stay tuned for full race coverage.
