Germany’s Viktoria Rebensburg showed the field that giant slalom maybe her specialty, but she is skiing fast in speed this year as well. The biggest threat to her win came from the back of the pack, the young Italian Nicol Delago, who skied into second from bib 31.

Behind Delago was Switzerland’s Corinne Suter, who followed up her downhill podium with yet another podium in the super-G.

For the Americans, Shiffrin once again led the pack finishing the day in 10th overall. Her teammate, Alice McKennis followed up a top 15 downhill finish with a 13th place finish in the super-G. Alice Merryweather had the best super-G finish of her career, 23rd place.
