Founded: Rowland Hall-St. Mark’s School was founded 1867. Rowmark Ski Academy was founded in 1982.

Grades: The full-time Academy is 9th grade through post-graduate. We also offer a complete junior Program from 3rd through 8th grade.
Program length: Academic program is from late August to early June plus year-round conditioning program and four off-season camps at Mammoth (June), New Zealand (July), Mount Hood or Chile (August), and Colorado (November).
Application deadline: March 1 deadline. Later applications may be considered on an individual basis.
Cost: $34,535 – $42,625 with boarding; $13,525 for post-graduates; need-based financial aid as well as merit-based scholarships
Academics and Overview
Located in Salt Lake City, Utah, the mission of Rowmark Ski Academy is to provide the best possible program for our athletes to develop their potential as elite skiracers, engaged students, positive role models, and contributing members society. As a division of Rowland Hall, we take pride in offering an unparalleled combination of academics and a complete year-round ski-racing program for our student-athletes.(The name Rowmark comes from the “Row” in Rowland and the“mark”in St.Mark’s.) We have found that the skiers who have the best experience at Rowmark are:
1. Good students who take academics seriously.
2. Passionate, talented, hard-working ski racers.
3. Good citizens and teammates.
Our focus is on the complete student-athlete: academics, athletics, technique, tactics, physical conditioning, sports psychology, teamwork and citizenship.
Rowland Hall St.Mark’s School provides a challenging curriculum and state of the art facilities enhanced by supportive faculty, and full time academic support and college counseling. Sixteen AP courses offered, Sutherland Institute Award for Excellence in Education, No. 1 Utah private school. Our college placement is outstanding with alumni attending top colleges and universities including Dartmouth, Middlebury, Williams, Harvard, Bates, Colby, University of Denver, University of Vermont, University of New Hampshire, University of Utah and many more. Virtually all students who graduate from Rowland Hall attend college or university at a four-year institution. In a typical year, more than half of Rowland Hall graduates are offered merit scholarships by these colleges and universities across the country.
Coaching ratio: One coach per six athletes.

Eleven Rowmark athletes have been named to the U.S.Ski Team in the last 14 years including Erik Fisher, Nick Baker, Roger Brown, Keely Kelleher, Courtney Hammond, Kiley Staples, Jennifer Van Wagner, Tague Thorson, Alice McKennis, Breezy Johnson and Katie Hensien. Other notable alumni include Hilary Lindh, Picabo Street, Kristi Terzian, Ovidio Garcia, Spencer Eccles, Jeremiah Thompson, Alexandra Shaffer, Amber Guaraglia, Rob Saunders, Levi Leipheimer, Adam Cole, Charles Christianson, Lauren Samuels and many NCAA All-Americans.
We train at Park City Mountain Resort's 2002 Olympic Race Arena and freeski at Snowbird Resort.
