Academics are arranged in one-on-one or small group settings and closely follow the curriculum of the subject matter.
Athletic Approach: Our programs are designed to provide a stimulating and enjoyable opportunity to become excellent skiers, help them reach their potential as competitors, and most importantly foster a life long love of the sport while teaching athletes the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Notable Coaches: Igor Vanovac, Jim Farrell, Lorant Gudasz, Scott Moriarty, Topher Harlow
Notable Alumni: Jess, Tim & Robby Kelley, Ryan Cochran-Siegle, Brad & Bobby Farrell
Training Facilities: The snow training facilities are located at the legendary Stowe Mountain Resort, the birthplace of Eastern skiing. The Alpine Training takes place on several trails, including the recently widened and enhanced Spruce Peak Main Street trail, a FIS homologated course that allows our athletes to train on terrain consistent with world-cup standards. Additional training terrain includes Slalom Hill and Competition Hill. Training conditions are supported with Stowe Mountain Resort’s excellent snowmaking and grooming, and training time is maximized with high-speed lifts.
Additional Info: The Academy is located on 3.5 acres with buildings that include classrooms, dorms, common space, newly renovated kitchen & dining room, newly expanded science lab and new Athletic Center. Conveniently located three miles from the Mt Mansfield and three miles from the town of Stowe.
