The Mt. Mansfield Ski Club (MMSC) recently opened a new, state-of-the-art ski service facility located in its clubhouse at the base of Stowe’s famed Main Street racing hill on Spruce Peak. The MMSC Service Center will advance the organization’s support of its athletes by assuring equipment is prepared to a consistent, high standard and by enabling performance on the hill.

When Graham and Mila Lonetto closed Edgewise Elite Ski Service to pursue new endeavors, MMSC obtained the best grinding technology available on the market from this iconic ski shop including MONTANA’s latest grinding machines. Graham Lonetto, a member of the MMSC board, serves as an advisor for the new service facility, leading a team of highly skilled individuals to complement the technology. Ashley Grove, an MMSC coach and former buyer for Edgewise, is facilitating the initial setup of the Ski Service Center, and Bill Chilton, former lead technician at Edgewise, takes on the role of service center manager and will provide high-quality technical service with support from other members of the MMSC team.

“The addition of this tuning facility enhances the resources we provide for our athletes,” said Executive and Athletic Director Igor Vanovac. “It represents a significant opportunity to offer premier ski service while also furthering education about ski preparation and its impact on the hill. And it is a reflection of the significant investments Mt. Mansfield Ski Club is making to ensure we are a leading ski racing program today and in the future.”
