Wengen: Michael Walchhofer wins DH portion{mosimage}Michael Walchhofer of Austria was the fastest skier in the first half of the super combined event at Wengen on Friday.

Bode Miller was second and Hermann Maier third. Maier will race the slalom portion in the afternoon.

Steven Nyman was 10th and Daron Rahlves was disqualified for missing a gate near the end. He was using the run for training for Saturday’s downhill.
