U.S. Ski Team announces 2014-15 alpine coaching staff
PARK CITY, Utah – The U.S. Ski Team announced its alpine coaching staff on Wednesday (April 7) for the 2014-15 season which kicks off in Soelden, Austria on Oct. 25-26 and also features the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail-Beaver Creek, Colo. in February. Four-time U.S. Ski Team International Coach of the Year Alex Hoedlmoser has been named head coach for the men’s speed team. Other notable shifts include Peter Anderson who moves from women’s assistant World Cup technical coach to the men’s speed team and T.J. Lanning who will oversee the next crop of superstars on the men’s speed front as he brings his World Cup experience as both an athlete and assistant coach to assume the role of head coach of the Europa Cup team.
