Training postponed in Lake Louise
The first women's downhill training run was postponed due to falling snow
The first women's downhill training run was postponed due to falling snow and due to the difficulties many of the teams had getting from Aspen to Denver. Snow and high wind brought travel in the Colorado Rockies to a standstill, closing Interstate 70 for several hours.
In Banff, officials expect five to eight centimeters of snow, enough to keep the course workers busy but training is expected to take place Wednesday, officials said.
The first team captain's meeting takes place this afternoon at five pm.
