Tignes freestyle World Cup succumbs to lack of snow{mosimage}Freestyle World Cup events scheduled for Tignes, France, on December 9-11 have been cancelled, according to the International Ski Federation (FIS).

Halfpipe, skiercross and moguls competitions had to be called off because warm temperatures prevented organizers from making snow in Tignes, the FIS said in an announcement on December 3. There was no immediate word on whether the events would be rescheduled.
