Team Summit accepting applications for alpine junior programs director position{mosimage}Team Summit, the Rocky Mountain Division team based at Copper Mountain, Colorado, is in search of a director for its alpine junior programs.

POSITION DESCRIPTION: This is a full time seasonal position, September 1 – April 15 annually. Normal schedule varies by season. September and October: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. November – March:
40 – 50 hours per week, Tuesday – Sunday, with approximately twenty hours per week on snow with a primary coaching group. April schedule varies based on spring break and date of Loveland Derby. This position will require some travel, assistance in the organization of local Age Class events and office time to efficiently manage all aspects of the Junior Programs including staffing, parent communications, coaches education and summer programming.

QUALIFICATIONS:
3 – 5 years Coaching Experience. Competition experience recommended. USSCA certification preferred
On-going coaches’ education recommended. Experience in physical conditioning and periodization.
Excellent communication skills and temperament for working with children a must. Willingness to excel as Team Player. Must have a legal, insurable driver’s license. Licensed USSA official.
