Three-time Olympian and three-time U.S. National Champion Stacey Cook has decided to join her teammates Julia Mancuso and Tim Jitloff in partnering with the Swiss ski manufacturer Stoeckli.

This past winter, Cook was part of the first-ever U.S. women’s World Cup podium sweep in the Lake Louise downhill, finishing second. Cook also grabbed four top-15 finishes and eight top-20 finishes in the 2014-15 season. She is currently ranked 14th overall in downhill and 29th overall in super G heading into the 2016 season.

“I am so excited for this new opportunity with Stoeckli,” Cook said while training at the Center of Excellence in Park City, Utah. “When Stoeckli became an option, I got really excited about the company and the attention they are able to give each of their athletes. Stoeckli is known for their quality and that is exactly what I want in the last few years of my career. I want to end my career with quality equipment, quality relationships, quality results, and some top quality fun!”

George Couperthwait, general manager for Stoeckli North America, says the signing is important as they continue the strategy to build the brand in the U.S. through racing.

“We believe that Stacey can build on her foundation of great results and can get to the next level as a consistent challenger to be on the podium. Our race department is continuing to grow our partnership with the U.S. Ski Team, and we are looking forward to watching these athletes excel on the international stage this winter,” noted Couperthwait.

Cook added, “I like the opportunity I have to help a great company make a bigger presence here in the U.S. I am excited to not only build myself into a better athlete, but to help build the Stoeckli brand here. I also think Jules (Mancuso) and I will make a great team. I’m excited to have a buddy with me in this change!”
