American snowboarder Michelle Gorgone grabbed her sixth career World Cup podium today in Arosa, Switzerland. The Boston native finished the parallel slalom in second behind Austrian Heidi Neururer. Also on the podium was Germany’s Isabella Laboeck. U.S. riders Andi Stump(21st) and Erica Mueller(33rd) also scored precious World Cup point at the event.

On the men’s side it was Austrian Siegfried Grabner in the top spot, followed by Italy’s Roland Fischnaller in second and Slovenian Zan Kosir in third. Adam Smith led the American effort in seventh with Tyler Jewell (11th), Zachary Kay (20th), Chris Klug (23rd), Benjamin Fairchild (35th) and Joshua Wylie (36th) also scoring World Cup points.
