U.S. Snowboarding announced today that Olympic gold medalist Kelly Clark will be rejoining the halfpipe roster.

“Kelly completes the women’s side of our team in a most spectacular way. She is one of the best female riders out there and to have her back riding with us is going to be good in so many ways,” U.S. Snowboarding Halfpipe Head Coach Mike Jankowski says on ussnowboarding.com. “It will be good for her and it will be good for the rest of our squad because of her professionalism, drive and focus. Those qualities will rub off on the rest of the team and I think she’s going to thrive off the other women on the team.”

The four-time Grand Prix overall title winner, who rode with the organization from 2000–2003, is looking to improve her riding heading into next years Olympics.

“For me this season is all about my snowboarding whether I do well in events or not. I will be at all the events. My goals are really personal this year to get my riding to a level where I know it’s going to need to be for next year,” Clark says.
