U.S. snowboarder Tyler Jewell finished seventh at today’s World Cup parallel GS in Kreischberg, Austria. The American women were led by Michelle Gorgone in 13th.
U.S. snowboarder Tyler Jewell finished seventh at today’s World Cup parallel GS in Kreischberg, Austria. The American women were led by Michelle Gorgone in 13th.

Both races were won by Austrians, with Seigfreid Grabner taking the men’s race and Doris Guenther the women’s.

Also on the podium for the men was Switzerland’s Simon Schoch in second and Italian Meinhard Erlacher in third.

Guenther was followed by Tomoka Takeuchi of Japan in second and Claudia Riegler, another Austrian in third.

Races continue in Kreischberg tomorrow with parallel slaloms for both genders.
