Ski Racing Web site unveils online PHOTO GALLERY featuring Jonathan SelkowitzThe pages of Ski Racing magazine feature some of the best ski competition photography on the planet, courtesy in large part to Jackson Hole-based photographer Jonathan Selkowitz.

Now, our main man behind the lens brings his images to skiracing.com. Our Web photo galleries will be updated throughout the competition season and will offer a window into our colorful sport.

Check out the galleries by clicking on the PHOTO GALLERY link under the CURRENT ISSUE image on the left-hand navigation menu. Or click here.

Our first galleries feature the World Cup stops in Beaver Creek, Colorado, and Aspen. Beaver Creek race fans witnessed history as Daron Rahlves and Bode Miller went one-two in the downhill, then reversed order in the GS, with Erik Schlopy fourth, on the same day Lindsey Kildow was winning a downhill at Lake Louise. Dec. 3, 2005, will go down as perhaps the greatest day in American alpine history.

Reader submissions will also be considered for posting in a special section of our Web gallery, titled ‘The Readers’ View.’ Send images in as high resolution as possible, preferably in color and as large as possible, via e-mail to sracing@skiracing.com. Include PHOTO GALLERY in the subject line. Readers will not be reimbursed for submissions, but top contributors may receive items from the Ski Racing gift bag.

Enjoy the galleries!
